Street Art meets Street Food here at this eatery…as you enter this place in Koregaon Park you will be hit by walls splashed with graffiti, the place has successfully managed to marry street art in a fun, quirky way with their rendition of globally influenced fusion street food. Cozy corners, An in house food truck that serves on the go churros and mocktails and loads of board games stacked to have a fun time with the gang of friends… Welcome to Mr. Vandal
Don’t get distracted by the pop art and the graffiti on the walls here…This place has given some serious thought to their food vis a vis their target segment. You know that they have done something right when a place is full at 3pm on a weekday..The vibes are young, the place is inviting and engaging.. Would it stop the good old me to go there…well I would go back for sure..
I would go back for the Minced Chicken Fries that is the ultimate sharing snack! Your gang of friends will love tucking into this plate filled with layers of crispy fries, spicy mayo, melted cheese and well cooked minced chicken. There is a vegetarian version too that comes with fries, melted cheese and jalapenos
I would go back for the Butter Chicken Bunny Chow – Butter chicken is without doubt the holy grail of Indian-style chicken dishes and Mr. Vandal combines it with the South African Indian fare and there you got one more reason to love Mr. Vandal. Melt in the mouth butter chicken check, the hollowed out bread – double check #HighlyRecommended
I would again go back for those Lemongrass Chicken Tikkas – The lemon grass adds on a fun flavor to the traditional chicken tikka. Subtly cooked with flavors intact
And I would particularly go there for the Persian Mutton Pilaf Bowl – A perfect meal in a pan that has well cooked mutton with an intoxicating gravy, rice along with the nice crispy onions and veggies…This one is mild but a show stealer here..An example of comfort food
Other dishes like Pulled Chicken Sriracha Trappizino needed more sriracha in it and the Turkish Lamb Kofta is fragrant, it’s exotic but was a tad tough for me.
The chicken sliders on the other hand were a hit with the crowd there.
Another sinful combination is the Macky Butter Chicken – Loads of cheese but it needed more of the butter chicken in my opinion but either ways you have to try this one for sure
They serve a mean Americano too.. I enjoyed that while the others on the table helped themselves to cinnamon sugar sprinkled Churros served with nutella and chocolate sauce and went gag a over it
Overall I would call it a really happy place with happy vibes
Last but not the least I would go back for the VANDALIZED CONES that I missed trying out…
