As I read through the menu here…GHOSHT KE GAPPE instantly caught my eye and I went ahead and ordered a plate of that for myself . Crispy puris filled with stuffed with tender juicy cubes of mutton topped with onions and mint made their way to my table.
Gobble up one and you will realize these mutton golgappas are bursting with flavor. The crunch from the puris, the heat from the well cooked mutton and the tang from the chutneys surprisingly works pretty well…
Still wondering where in Pune, did I eat them?…head to KhaanSaab in Season’s Mall, Magarpatta and order a plate for yourself.
And while you are there also try out the Haryali Palak and Sev ki Chaat which has crisp spinach finished with tamarind and mint chutney and garnished with chatpata sev. Sounds very unassuming but the combination hits the right notes especially if you are chaat lover.
If you are a vegetarian then you must try the Tandoori Bharwan Kumbh – Mushrooms stuffed with cream spinach and cheese . These lovely bite-sized tandoor cooked button mushrooms were delicately succulent and flavoursome. Another appetizer to look forward to is the Roti Pe Paneer Ki Boti – Mini crusty rotis topped with chutney, masaledar paneer and onion rings
On one hand the Lal mirch ka Teekha Chicken Tikka here is a #MustHave for the spice lovers while on the other the Sarson Mahi Kabab is a subtle preparation with creamy mustard and fish
The Murgh Malai Chandi Kebab has perfectly char-grilled morsels of melt in the mouth chicken.
And if you are still not full after having all of this…then the best way to finish your meal here is to order their Dal Makhani with some Burani Paratha.
And oh yes make sure you order the Apple Pineapple ka Panna a refereshing drink whick is also a very good digestive.
