And the  “Truffle Festival” at La Terraza at Hyatt Regency Pune, showcases that. Trust me and book your table now. It is an golden opportunity to treat your taste buds to flavourful truffle specialties cooked to perfection by Executive Chef Anirban Dasgupta in collaboration with Italian truffle specialist, Silvia Landucci from Boscovivo. First up came the Anti Pasti, composed of Grilled white Asparagus with poached pears and truffle foam, this sure was a perfect light entrée. The textures were bang on and the taste subtle yet mesmerizing

The aromatic Butternut Pumpkin Cappuccino was uplifting with that Truffle oil served alongside a toasted slab of bread topped with roasted chicken. Give this to me on a nippy evening and I will curl up with my favorite book.

Prawn Raviolo with Soft Egg Yolk, Truffle Shavings and lemon cherry tomato Butter was a giant square raviolo, with a soft runny eggyolk filling that mingles with butter sauce when you cut into it, is a showstopping way to start off lunch. Yes, the truffle shavings added to the jazz while the truffle butter enriches the sauce with its heady aroma.

The Lamb with truffle cream, winter potato and kale finished with a truffle butter sauce was another #MustHave where a perfectly cooked lamb was served with served with truffle cream encased in a potato…. It was an impressive plate of food to savor.

The Truffle Salt Dusted Pork Confit with Whipped Cauliflower Puree was exceptional. Chef Anirban here plays with one of the many facets of truffle and concocts a masterpiece. With this offering the truffle headlines the dish, all the while boosting the creamy cauliflower and marrying the confit pork in a harmonious balance.

The Truffle Festival is on till the 26th of February 2017, at La Terrazza, Hyatt Regency Pune. All the preparations are served in their special A La Carte Menu for lunch and dinner. Don’t miss this one for sure…
