Veggie Thursdays – Potatoes








I am round and versatile,
With a huge fan following,
Mash me, bake me, fry me
And I won’t disappoint.

Perhaps one of the world’s most liked vegetable is the humble potato. Used in almost all cuisines, it naturally blends itself as an integral part of the dish. It’s a myth that it increases weight. Consumed in moderation, it is a rich source of B-Complex Vitamins and Vitamin C, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Potassium. From simple mashes to roasts, gratins to pies, potatoes lend themselves to a wide variety of dishes worldwide.
Love it or hate it, you can never ignore it.
